Updating Embedded Memory



To update the embedded memory in a device:

  1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

  2. Initialize the Simulator.

  3. When prompted to run the simulation, click No.

  4. To update the embedded memory at a specific point during simulation, create a breakpoint that stops the simulation at a point when you want to update the embedded memory, and continue to run the simulation.  More Details

  5. Open the embedded memory.

  6. Edit the memory contents, for example, by copying, cutting, or pasting cells ; deleting memory cells; inserting or paste inserting cells; or filling selected cells.

  7. If necessary, update the Simulator with new memory contents.
