Creating a Breakpoint Equation



To create a breakpoint equation:

  1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

  2. Choose Simulation Debug > Simulation Breakpoints (Processing menu).

  3. If you have previously created breakpoints for this project, in the Breakpoints list, click Click here to insert new breakpoint.

  4. If you want to create a breakpoint equation that contains a node name, type the node name in the Break if this equation is true box, or use the Node Finder dialog box to enter the node name.

  5. If you wish to add one or more comparison operators to the breakpoint equation, right-click the Break if this equation is true box, choose Comparison Operators (right button pop-up menu), and select an appropriate comparison operator.

  6. If you wish to add one or more logical operators to the breakpoint equation, right-click the Break if this equation is true box, choose Logical Operators (right button pop-up menu), and select an appropriate logical operator.

  7. If you wish to add one or more conditions to the breakpoint equation, right-click the Break if this equation is true box, choose Conditions (right button pop-up menu), and select an appropriate condition.
