The FIFO Partitioner is a tool for mapping multiple FIFOs into a single Stratix^™ or Stratix^™ GX M-RAM. The ability to partition M-RAMs into multiple FIFOs greatly enhances the utility of the Stratix memory architecture. The FIFO Partitioner automatically generates the logic necessary to time-domain-multiplex Stratix M-RAMs between multiple user-specified FIFOs. You can use the FIFO Partitioner for FIFO functions that do not efficiently fit into available M512 memory blocks or M4K memory blocks.
