Mercury

An Altera® device family based on a high-speed, look-up table (LUT)-based architecture. A Mercury device consists of an advanced interconnect structure for fast routing of critical paths; up to four ClockLock® PLLs with programmable multiplication and delay shifting of up to four outputs per ClockLock PLL; dedicated multiplier circuitry for high-speed implementation of 16×16 signed multiplication; and Embedded System Blocks (ESBs) for implementing memory functions such as first-in first-out (FIFO) buffers, single-port RAM, dual-port RAM, quad-port RAM, bidirectional dual-port RAM, and content-addressable memory (CAM). This SRAM-based family of devices offers advanced high-speed I/O features, including support of multiple low-voltage I/O standards and a High-Speed Differential Interface (HSDI).

The Mercury family includes the EP1M120 and EP1M350 devices.
