Selecting One or More Objects



To select a single object:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. Click the Selection and Smart Drawing Tool button on the toolbar.  Properties button

  3. Click the object.

 

To select all objects in an area:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. Click the Selection and Smart Drawing Tool button on the toolbar.  Properties button

  3. Click the object.

  4. Click an empty space with the Selection and Smart Drawing Tool and drag the pointer until you select all the objects.  More Details

 

To select objects that are not adjacent to each other:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. Click the Selection and Smart Drawing Tool button on the toolbar.  Properties button

  3. Click the object.

  4. Press Shift and click the objects you want to select.

 

To select the entire network of lines connected to the selected node or bus:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. Click the Selection and Smart Drawing Tool button on the toolbar.  Properties button

  3. Click the object.

  4. With the Selection and Smart Drawing Tool, press Ctrl and double-click a segment of the line.

 

To select all objects:

  1. If you have not already done so, open or create a Block Design File (.bdf) or a Block Symbol File (.bsf).

  2. Click the Selection and Smart Drawing Tool button on the toolbar.  Properties button

  3. Click the object.

  4. Choose Select All (Edit menu).
